The Council for 2026–27
Aparna Public School is proud to announce its Student Council for the academic session 2026–27.
Twenty-four students have been appointed, each chosen after careful assessment of academic performance, conduct, regularity, sense of responsibility and demonstrated leadership.
They will receive their badges and sashes at the Investiture Ceremony in the school premises. The date and time will be announced separately.
An office-bearer is expected to uphold the values and discipline of the school, to set an example in punctuality, courtesy and appearance, and to work closely with the House Masters, Class Teachers and Coordinators. Each appointment is valid for one academic year and remains subject to review by the Principal.
Students, parents and members of staff are requested to extend their cooperation, guidance and good wishes to the new Council.

Investiture Ceremony
The badges and sashes will be presented in the school premises. The date and time will be announced separately through the notice board and the official WhatsApp groups.
What the office asks of them
Duties & conduct of office-bearers

Wear the prescribed sash and badge on Assembly day, at all school functions, and whenever instructed by the Principal.

Maintain an exemplary record in attendance, punctuality, uniform and academic work through the session.

Assist the teachers in conducting the Morning Assembly, House activities, inter-house competitions and school events.

Use the authority of the office with courtesy and fairness. No office-bearer may punish, penalise or humiliate another student under any circumstances.

Report any matter requiring disciplinary action at once to the Class Teacher, the House Master or the Coordinator.
06
Failure to discharge the assigned duties, or conduct unbecoming of the office, may result in withdrawal of the appointment by the Principal.
