Privacy Policy
APARNA PUBLIC SCHOOL collects only the information it needs to teach, care for and stay in touch with its students and their families, and never sells it.
1. Who we are
APARNA PUBLIC SCHOOL, GOSAIDIH, KG ASHRAM, DHANBAD, 828109(JH) (Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi). The school decides how your information is used and is responsible for it.
2. What we collect
- Students: name, date of birth, photograph, class, roll number, attendance, marks and report cards, fees, health notes you give us, and documents submitted at admission.
- Parents and guardians: names, phone numbers, e-mail, address and occupation.
- Staff: details needed for employment, attendance and payroll.
3. Why we use it
Admission; teaching and assessment; report cards, admit cards and certificates; attendance and the child's safety; fee collection and receipts; transport; messages to parents; and reports that the law or our board requires.
4. Who we share it with
- Our board and government education portals, when required.
- Our school management software provider, which processes data only on our instructions.
- Payment, SMS, WhatsApp and e-mail providers, only to complete payments and deliver messages.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
5. How long we keep it
While the student studies here, and then for 5 years for certificates and records, or longer where the law requires. After that it is deleted.
6. Keeping it safe
Logins are protected by password or OTP, staff see only what their role needs, activity is logged, and our records are backed up regularly.
7. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or update your information, ask us to delete what we no longer need, and name someone to act on your behalf. Write to our Grievance Officer below.
